Award-winning mobile app development agency Apps in the Sky (that’s us) has rebranded… becoming Apptaura!
Gasp! Shriek! Wow!
So, as you will have noticed, that means we’ve got a great new look. A bold design, a new logo, a new name and a brand-spanking new website. Don’t worry though, we’re still the same awesome team that you remember. We’re still passionate about technology. Driven to build great apps. And dedicated to providing you with our unique blend of commercial and technical expertise.
The boss man – our CEO – Thom Gibbons explains it all:
“Apptaura is the logical next step in the evolution of the business we’ve built. We’ll always have a fond place in our hearts for Apps in the Sky… but it was starting to look a bit long in the tooth. We’re more confident in our abilities than we were all those years ago. We know what makes us special. What makes us stand out. Apptaura is a striking brand that fits our ideals, our achievements and our vision for the future.”
Based in Basingstoke since our foundation in 2014 we’ve been building apps for a range of sectors, working with blue-chip clients, SMEs, start-ups and charities. We’ve established ourselves as specialists in building apps integrated via bluetooth into third party hardware. We’ve grown and excelled and have posted back to back record years. Now with our cool new look and feel we’re planning on charging into the future and getting bigger and better.
Tech guru, co founder and CTO Tom Colvin chips in:
“I literally started Apps in the Sky in my own home. It was two friends coding together for fun as much as anything. We’ve scaled up rapidly with this rebrand Thom and I have been able to highlight what sets us apart. It has a flavour of our own personalities and the character of the team we’ve built.
We’re built on code, caffeine and confidence. We make great apps. Simple.”
A huge shout-out goes to the team at Basingstoke-based Black Canvas who helped us with the rebrand. They are ace. Check them out.
